Life is too short to dabble in shades of gray, which is why I am deeply attracted to the reds, oranges, yellows and greens of nature.
I have always enjoyed beauty in nature, from California poppies in Sonoma in spring to water lilies in Monet's garden, and sunflowers in France to hollyhocks in the English countryside.
I paint in acrylics and alcohol inks, and I enjoy figurative painting as well as abstract art which stretches the limits of my imagination. Tulips, poppies, calla lilies, sunsets, flower meadows — all in living color.
Beyond the canvas, I work in fused glass and hand-built pottery, carrying the same love of color and form into clay and light.
